I appreciated how PetRadar made the missing poster for me, it took a big emotional burden off of my shoulders. I was in tears making the posters but having PetRadar do it for me was so helpful. We have been so grateful for the overwhelming support from neighbors and so many other people we’ve never met. They sent information on how to entice him home, and we did EVERYTHING suggested. He’s home now and he’s the happiest cat to be home. Particularly valuable was the suggestion to set up a “home away from home” area as close as possible to the house and the door he left by (we used our kitchen porch) with food, water, and his familiar belongings, like his favorite bed and some of our dirty laundry for the scents. Looking for him at night with strong smelling food was the final piece of the puzzle. I put out deli chicken and he came when it got dark. I pushed the kitchen sliding door open. He RAN inside when he realized the door was open, and hasn’t been out since. Thank you everyone!! What a wonderful community you all are!!!!!
