She has not been out by herself so She is skittish

Winston got out the back door on March 11th. He was sighted that night in a backyard on my street but no more sightings. He is skittish with people & will probably run if approached. He is a blonde orange color and is 13lbs & neutered. He did not have his collar on when he got out. I think he’s traveling through backyards & I don’t think would approach busy roads. This is his first time being out and I am worried he might be scared & can’t find his way home. I have placed a litter box, his blanket, toys, food & water out to help him find his way home.
