Kanu is 7 months old, very friendly with people and friendly dogs, & has yellow/yellow-green eyes. He has a faint darker grey and lighter grey circle-markings on his tail (like a raccoon), and he is all grey, with a tiny bit of white/lighter grey near his face. He weighs around 7-8 lbs is my guess. He is micro-chipped: 941010003914270 & has/had a blue-black checkered collar when I last saw him, with a fish ID tag with his name and my phone number on it.

The poster that was created by Pet Radar was what was key. Once we printed it, we posted around the neighborhood. Seeing the poster, the neighbor recognized our cat in a tree in our neighborhood

We have been so grateful for the overwhelming support from neighbors and so many other people we’ve never met. They sent information on how to entice him home, and we did EVERYTHING suggested. He’s home now and he’s the happiest cat to be home. Particularly valuable was the suggestion to set up a “home away from home” area as close as possible to the house and the door he left by (we used our kitchen porch) with food, water, and his familiar belongings, like his favorite bed and some of our dirty laundry for the scents. Looking for him at night with strong smelling food was the final piece of the puzzle. I put out deli chicken and he came when it got dark. I pushed the kitchen sliding door open. He RAN inside when he realized the door was open, and hasn’t been out since. Thank you everyone!! What a wonderful community you all are!!!!!

Petradar got our doggo home!! A local man and sister picked him up and took amazing care of him. His nephew saw doggo on a PetRadar post and they contacted us immediately. We are so grateful both to them and PetRadar!!!

I got one lead from someone in my area from FB so the ads worked as they should. Poe came home just now through out garage that I left open with food and a bed. Your suggestions were spot on. I was hoping once it got dark again, he would return …and he did. Thank you for your help.
