Thanks to all the great advice I got from people who saw the post, I found Pirate. I went out with a torch late at night and found him a few houses down. He was actually stuck in a narrow gap between two buildings entangled in some metal frames that had been stored there. He definitely wouldn’t have got out on his own and it was an unused building (I had to climb over the wall) so the ending easily could not have been so happy. Thanks to the advice to go out late at night, I heard him meowing almost as soon as I started calling for him, so I am so grateful for that. He is completely unbothered and is wondering what all the fuss is about! Thanks so much!

Thanks for your support. I found him on Sunday morning in a park at Maple road. A neighbour kindly found him and let me know.
